Change to comparator benchmarks of Artemis Funds (Lux) – US Select & Artemis Funds (Lux) – US Smaller Companies

On 6 August 2024, the comparator benchmarks of Artemis Funds (Lux) – US Select and Artemis Funds (Lux) – US Smaller Companies will be changing from S&P 500 Total Return Index and Russell 2000 Total Return Index to S&P 500 Net Return Index and Russell 2000 Net Return Index, respectively.

The Board of Directors of Artemis Funds (Lux) has decided to change the benchmarks of Artemis Funds (Lux) – US Select and Artemis Funds (Lux) – US Smaller Companies, as follows:

Artemis Funds (Lux) – US Smaller Companies 
 Russell 2000 Total Return Index 
 Russell 2000 Net Return Index 

The Board of Directors has decided that it felt appropriate to change the sub-funds’ benchmarks as, following a wider review of benchmarks, the Net Return version of the index is considered a more appropriate performance comparator than the current Total Return version as it better reflects the irrevocable withholding tax on US equity dividends suffered by the sub-funds.

When will the changes take place?

The changes will become effective on 6 August 2024.
