Last updated 6 October 2025
On 6 October 2025, changes were made to the name, investment policy and strategy, benchmark and annual management charges of Artemis Global Select Fund:
- The Fund’s name was changed to ‘Artemis SmartGARP Global Smaller Companies Fund’;
- The Fund’s investment policy wording was changed to state:
a) the Fund must invest at least 80% in shares of smaller companies. These companies will typically be no bigger, based on market capitalisation, than the largest company included in the MSCI AC World Small Cap Index when first acquired; and
b) the Fund’s exclusions on investment in tobacco, weapons, fossil fuels and UN Global Compact violators were removed in their entirety;
Otherwise, the Fund’s limits/restrictions were unchanged. - The Fund’s investment strategy wording was changed to reflect that Artemis’ proprietary SmartGARP tool will be used as the foundation of the investment process.
- The Fund’s comparator benchmark was changed from ‘MSCI AC World NR Index’ to ‘MSCI AC World Small Cap NR Index’ and the secondary comparator benchmark, the Investment Association Global sector, was removed. It was determined that following the changes to the Fund’s investment policy and the focus on smaller companies, the Global sector could no longer be considered an appropriate peer group of funds for performance comparison purposes. The Fund will remain within the Investment Association Global sector but its performance will not be compared against it;
- The Annual Management Change (“AMC”) of each unit class of the Fund was reduced by 0.15% for a period of 12 months from the effective date of the changes. Investors should note that the AMC of each unit class of the Fund will revert to the previous levels as of 6 October 2026.
