Here you’ll find a list of recent and forthcoming changes across our fund range. This includes fund and share class mergers or transfers, fund manager appointments, changes to fund objectives and or names, and changes that may occur as a result of regulatory initiatives.


Changes to the investment policy of the Artemis Strategic Assets Fund

Changes to investment policy, strategy and benchmark of Artemis Positive Future Fund

Merger of Artemis European Select Fund into Artemis SmartGARP European Equity Fund

On 10 January 2025, Artemis European Select Fund was merged into Artemis SmartGARP European Equity Fund.  


Artemis Alpha Trust plc update

Following the approval by shareholders (at the general meeting held on 29 November 2024) of the special resolution to place Artemis Alpha Trust Plc (the ‘Company’) into members’ voluntary liquidation, Derek Hyslop and Richard Barker both of Ernst & Young LLP of 1 More London Place, London, SE1 2AF have been appointed as joint liquidators of the Company. The Liquidators will be responsible for the winding up and distributing the assets of the Company in accordance with the scheme of reconstruction.


Change to the Artemis Strategic Assets income distribution

We have changed the classification of the income distribution within the Artemis Strategic Assets. The change will take effect automatically for the 12-month period ending 31 August 2025. 


Change to investment policy and negative screens of Artemis Global Select Fund

On 6 November we changed the investment policy, specifically the Fund-specific exclusions (negative screening) and the description of the investment strategy. 


Change to comparator benchmarks of Artemis US Select Fund & Artemis US Smaller Companies Fund

On 31 October 2024, the comparator benchmarks of Artemis US Select Fund and Artemis US Smaller Companies Fund changed from S&P 500 Total Return Index and Russell 2000 Total Return Index to S&P 500 Net Return (net of 15% withholding tax) Index and Russell 2000 Net Return (net of 15% withholding tax) Index, respectively. 


Reduction of base Administration Fees for certain UK funds

On 1 August 2024 we reduced the Base Administration Fee of Artemis SmartGARP Global Emerging Markets Equity Fund by 0.04%, aligning it with that of other global equity funds offered by Artemis. 

On the same date we also reduced the Base Administration Fee by 0.01% of Artemis Global Income Fund, Artemis Global Select Fund, Artemis Positive Future Fund, Artemis SmartGARP Global Equity Fund, Artemis US Extended Alpha Fund, Artemis US Select Fund and Artemis US Smaller Companies Fund. 


Implementation of firmwide exclusions on weapons

Artemis applies a weapons exclusion (screening) policy, paying regard to various international conventions, such as the international convention on cluster munitions and anti-personnel mines. This policy applies to all the investment decisions made by Artemis.   

We are including details of weapons exclusions that apply to all Artemis funds in our prospectuses. 


Reduction of administration fee on Artemis SmartGARP Global Emerging Markets Equity Fund

On 17 April 2024, the administration fee on the Artemis SmartGARP Global Emerging Markets Equity Fund reduced by 0.02%. The minimum chargeable administration fee also reduced from 0.10% to 0.075%.


Change to name, investment objective, policy and strategy of Artemis Target Return Bond Fund

On 18 March 2024, changes were made to the name, investment objective, policy and strategy, and benchmark of Artemis Target Return Bond Fund. From 18 March 2024, the fund is named Artemis Short-Duration Strategic Bond Fund.
