Investing via a financial adviser

If you are new to investing or unfamiliar or unsure about what is involved and how to go about it, we always recommend you speak to a professional financial adviser.

Advisers can help you with financial planning, investments, pensions and retirement and other matters, and they can invest in Artemis funds on your behalf.

Invest via a fund platform

Fund platforms allow you to hold funds from a variety of fund managers, including Artemis, in one place. This makes holding and trading a wide range of funds very straightforward, especially within ISAs (Individual Savings Accounts) and pensions.

Platforms are able to aggregate large numbers of clients, sometimes offering lower minimum investment amounts and lower fund charges as a result.

There are a number of UK fund platforms; use a website search engine to search for ‘UK fund platforms’ to find information and links.

Invest with Artemis

You can invest directly with Artemis by phone or by post:

  • By phone: call our Fund Service Centre on 0800 092 2051 (open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday)
(Please note, this is only available if you have an existing account with Artemis; for new accounts, please use the post option)
  • By post: download an application form from our literature library to invest in Artemis funds

You can choose to invest a lump sum or join our monthly savings scheme, and you can do both by investing directly in a fund or via an ISA.

If you are investing via an ISA and you have not paid into it in the current or previous tax year, a written application form would be required. There are minimum investment amounts for different unit/share classes; these are detailed in the 'Supplementary Information Document' and the list of fund codes which you can also find in our literature library.

Once you have opened an account with us, we offer an online investment service where you can view your investments and their values, and make future transactions.

Please note that it is not possible to invest in Artemis’ Luxembourg-domiciled ‘SICAV’ funds (the Global High Yield Bond, Short-Dated Global High Yield Bond and Leading Consumer Brands funds) directly with Artemis; these are only available for investment via a financial adviser or fund platform.
